Top 5 Friends’ Funniest Episodes

Friends (1994-2004) is considered as one of the best and most hilarious sitcoms ever created. With its witty one-liners and sarcastic comebacks, it’s still a great watch now just as much as it was 20 years ago, If you are a big fan of the sitcom just like me, here are Friends’ five funniest episodes ever!

1. “The One With The Embryos” (Season 4, Episode 12)

This episode is surely a fans’ favourite and rightly so! As the group is fighting over who’s supposed to live in the big apartment, they come up with the best idea ever.. Why not betting it on a trivia contest on who knows the other friends the best? The episode hilariously follows the game, with Ross as the judge, as we find out the weirdest and funniest facts about the group.

2. “The One Where No One’s Ready” (Season 3, Episode 2)

When Ross (David Schwimmer) invites his friends to a benefit gala at his museum, he is excited for the night. But things quickly take a wrong turn when the friends are clearly nowhere as ready for the event and busy with other activities. Although he tries to convince them to start getting dressed, the task is far from easy. From Monica (Courteney Cox) facing an “answering machine crisis” to Chandler and Joey fighting over who is supposed to sit on the sofa, the episode is filled with crazy moments and great one-liners.

3. “The One Where Ross Is Fine” (Season 10, Episode 2)

After Ross walks in on Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) kissing, he is adamant on letting everybody know “he is fine” and not bothered at all by that. But as the episode goes on, we can see his stability is shaken, especially when he decides to propose a toast to the new couple. The toast is well-known among Friends’ fans as it is one of the weirdest and most hilarious Ross-moments.

4. “The One Where Joey Speaks French” (Season 10, Episodes 13)

Joey is surely one of the best characters in Friends and he is always the one that makes me laugh the most! In this episode, Joey is trying to learn French for an audition and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) agrees to help him with it. But, as it turns out, he is terrible at it! While he thinks his French is improving, in reality we just witness him talk hilarious gibberish.

5. “The One Where Everybody Finds Out” (Season 5, Episode 14)

Monica and Chandler’s relationship was one of the best story lines in the sitcom and they made us dream as their friendship turned into love in season five. This episode is one of the best ones ever, because it is the one where everybody finds out about them! As Phoebe, Joey and Rachel come to know the truth about their friends, they decide to get into a mind-twisting game to let them admit it. Unfortunately, when Monica and Chandler find out their friends are aware of their relationship, they are not willing to back down. The episode turns into a crazy competition of who’s willing to give up first!
